Food and Beverage Assistant

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will provide a vital role in enhancing the overall well-being of residents within our client's residential care homes group by ensuring the delivery of nutritious, well-balanced meals tailored to individual dietary needs.

You will work 44 hours over a 4 day week, 7.30am - 7.30pm.

This role contributes to the positive dining experience of residents while upholding the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service. This position involves hands-on meal preparation, kitchen management and active collaboration with residents and fellow staff members.

• Compliance English and Maths functional skills
• Familiarity with meal service for special dietary needs
• Knowledge of food safety and standards
• Familiarity with kitchen and dining service equipment operation and maintenance
• Ability to serve diverse and appealing meals
• Able to work collaboratively with other staff members and adapt to changing priorities
• Good communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues
• Compassionate and empathetic towards the individual needs of residents
• Detail orientated with a commitment to maintaining high standards of person centred service, cleanliness and hygiene

Previous relevant catering experience required.
