Send Teacher

ANZUK Education is working with a Primary SEN School set within the Medway Towns seeking to appoint an exceptional SEN Teacher to join their award-winning team.

Join a SEND Primary setting, based in the Medway Towns, dedicated to supporting children with ASC and complex needs, where every child is given the opportunity to flourish. You will lead a small specialist class, supporting pupils with complex needs, including autism, communication needs, and sensory processing differences.

• Location: Medway Gillingham
• Pay Range: £168.80 - £232.58 per (equivalent to MPS1 MPS6), dependent on experience
• Contract Type: Full-Time

About the role:

• Plan and deliver learning tailored to each pupil, aligned with EHCP outcomes and individual needs
• Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists to meet pupils holistic needs
• Build positive relationships with families and celebrate progress at every stage
• Create a nurturing and inclusive environment that supports pupils emotional wellbeing
• Contribute to the ongoing development and future direction of the school

Desirable skills & experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong commitment to supporting children with SEND
• A creative and adaptable approach to planning engaging, multisensory learning experiences
• Ability to create a structured, nurturing classroom environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A reflective, resilient approach and a willingness to continuously develop your practice
• Willingness to contribute to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
