Assistant Store Manager - Luxury Retail

Location: Central London
Salary: Up to 35,000 plus monthly bonus
Hours: Full-time, Permanent

C2 Recruitment is recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager to join a luxury retail environment in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail professional to take the next step within a premium, customer-focused setting.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the store, lead the team in their absence and help drive both sales performance and exceptional customer experience.

The Role

Support the overall management of the store and lead the team when required
Drive sales through coaching, motivation and leading by example
Deliver consistently high standards of customer service
Ensure the store is well presented, fully stocked and operating efficiently
Monitor daily sales performance and communicate updates to the team
Delegate tasks effectively to maximise productivity
Support team development, encouraging strong product knowledge and selling skills
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally
Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a retail leadership or supervisory role
Strong sales focus with a track record of achieving targets
A confident and hands-on leadership style
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
Comfortable working within a fast-paced luxury or premium retail environment

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week
5 days out of 6 on a Monday to Saturday rota
Daytime hours, approximately 9:00am - 5:30pm
Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays
