This role has a starting salary of £23,571 - £25 587.50 per annum based on a 18 hour working week.
This is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2027. For SCC permanent team members, this role will be a secondment.
Within our Design and Transformation Service, we have several vacancies for Project Managers, that will work as part of our Delivery team to support the Devolution & Local Government Reorganisation programme - the largest change to the local government landscape in 50 years.

About the Role
This role manages key projects that drive the Council's transformation, ensuring delivery within time, scope, and budget while aligning with strategic priorities. You will work with Programme Managers and cross-functional teams to plan projects, manage resources, and implement change for safe, compliant, and efficient unitary authorities. Tracking milestones, you'll report progress, risks, and issues to senior leaders, and proactively address challenges.
The position requires effective stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as plans, schedules, and reports, all in line with programme goals and expected transformative outcomes.
