Exciting opportunity for an Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer to join a family run and market leading business covering a local patch with a mix of service, maintenance and installation work, and the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through consistent overtime.

This Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer role is field-based, covering commercial and industrial sites across Yorkshire. The Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer will carry out planned maintenance, reactive repairs and installation of doors, shutters and access systems.

The Role
Service, maintenance and repair of electric doors and shutters
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on commercial sites
Reactive fault finding and first-time fix repairs
Installation of roller shutters, sectional doors and access systems
Electrical wiring, commissioning and testing of control panels
Working from technical drawings and manuals
Covering a regional Yorkshire patch
Updating jobs via job management system

The Person
Background as an Electrical Door and Shutter Engineer
Experience with roller shutters, sectional or industrial doors
Electrical fault finding and installation experience
Electrical qualification (18th Edition, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
Full UK driving licence
