Location: Huntingdon (PE29) Duration: Permanent Hours: 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - Thursday, 7.30am - 12.30pm Fridays (37 hours per week) Salary: 26000 - 28000 dependent on experience Job Reference: 36119 Polytec is seeking a reliable Warehouse and Packing Operative to support day to day dispatch and warehouse activities for our client based in Huntingdon. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities - Receiving and checking incoming deliveries - Booking materials into an ERP system and storing stock correctly - Inspecting and securely packing finished goods - Including correct paperwork and scanning items into finished goods - Assisting with order picking, shipping labels and despatch preparation - Kitting materials to production areas - Operating forklift trucks (counterbalance/flexi) - Carrying out stock checks and maintaining a safe, tidy warehouse Requirements - Previous warehouse experience - Forklift experience preferred - Experience packing high value goods advantageous - Knowledge of electronic components beneficial - Experience with Syspro ERP useful - Good attention to detail and reliability Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
