CNC Machinist Ferndown Up to £45,000 per annum Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with the confidence to programme, set, and operate CNC machinery independently?
This CNC Machinist role offers long-term stability, modern equipment, and the opportunity to work as either a CNC Miller or CNC Turner within a high-quality precision manufacturing environment.

  • Day shifts with an early Friday finish
  • Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 17:30 with a 30-minute lunch break
  • Friday 07:30 to 13:00

As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling or turning machines
  • Producing precision components to tight tolerances
  • Editing and proving programs at the machine
  • Working from detailed engineering drawings
  • Carrying out first-off inspection and ongoing quality checks
As a CNC Machinist, your experience will include:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Turner
  • Programming experience for turning using Fanuc, Siemens, or Mazatrol controls
  • Programming experience for milling using Fanuc controls
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Experience working as a programmer, setter, and operator
