Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per hour

Job Description:

Duties & Responsibilities

Vehicle Operation & Daily Compliance

• Drive and operate an HGV Class 2 (Category C) recycling collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Carry out thorough daily vehicle checks at the start, during, and end of each shift; report any defects immediately and do not operate unsafe vehicles.
• Collect (for pub/club routes) from designated commercial customers including pubs, restaurants, bars, hotels, and local authority collection points.
• Operate binlift equipment and handle containers safely, ensuring correct loading and load security.
• Ensure bin store areas are left clean, tidy, and free from hazards after collections.
• Transfer/tip collected materials at designatedsites i n line with routing instructions and site operational procedures
• Follow all internal safety procedures and sitespecific requirements.
• Report any accidents or incidents involving vehicles, equipment, yourself, or third parties as soon as safely possible.
• Interact courteously and professionally with customers, representing the company in a positive manner.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Hold a valid HGV Category C licence and drivers CPC
• Good customer service skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well autonomously
