Fire Door Surveyor

Fortus Recruitment are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs & maintenance industry.

We are currently working on behalf of a Local Authority.

My client is currently seeking experienced Fire Door Surveyor's to carry out a programme of surveys across multiple sites in the South East. This is an ong-going contract with an immediate start, offering consistent work over a short-term period.

There are approximately 57 surveys to be completed within a tight timeframe, so reliability and efficiency are essential.

The role will involve carrying out a mixture of:

• Fire Door Surveys
• Compartmentation Surveys
• Fire Stopping Inspections

You will be responsible for accurately assessing and recording compliance, identifying defects, and reporting findings in line with current fire safety regulations.

Work will be carried out across the following areas:

• West Sussex
• Surrey
• Hampshire
• Slough
• Berkshire
• Guildford
• Farnborough
• Ashford
• Uckfield
• East Sussex
• Middlesex
• Fleet

Requirements

• Proven experience in fire door surveying and passive fire inspections
• Strong knowledge of fire door compliance and regulations
• Experience with compartmentation and fire stopping surveys
• Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
• Must have own transport and cover own fuel costs
• Good attention to detail and reporting skills
