Site Engineer Hindley Station, Wigan (6-Month Contract)

We are seeking a self-sufficient and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a 6-month project. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting out, quality control, and technical assurance, ensuring works are delivered safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage site activities in line with Network Rail standards, approved drawings, and programme requirements.
• Work closely with site management, subcontractors, and Network Rail representatives.
• Resolve site issues proactively with minimal supervision.
• Assist with handover documentation and quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

• Current PTS and experience in live railway environments.
• Familiarity with Network Rail processes and handover documentation.
• Proactive, organised, and capable of working independently.
• Experience with Transport for Greater Manchester schemes is a bonus but not essential.
• Local candidates only no lodgings provided.
