Day Shift Maintenance Technician

Based at their Tadcaster technical hub a centre of excellence for research and bespoke fabrication they specialise in technologically advanced designs for the UK s most ambitious construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are recruiting an experienced Mechanically biased Maintenance Technician to produce precision components and full-scale prototypes. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operational Continuity: Execute comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance strategies across complex plant assets and multi-site facilities.
• Technical Diagnosis: Utilise schematics and data reports to identify root causes of equipment failure, implementing robust solutions to minimise downtime.
• Systems Optimisation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend design modifications and refine operating procedures for enhanced machine reliability.
• Safety & Compliance: Manage service schedules and material procurement while upholding the highest standards of site-wide safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Qualified to (ONC/HNC level) in a relevant Engineering discipline, with demonstrable strong mechanical knowledge.
• Experience with fluid power systems (hydraulics/pneumatics) would be advantageous
• Competency in operating conventional workshop machinery and a comfortable approach to working at height.
• A proactive professional capable of managing deadlines and coordinating resources independently Attributes:
• Electrical maintenance exprience would be adavantageous, but isn'r essential .

DETAILS OF PACKAGE

Circa £38,0000 + Bonus (circa £40,000 inc. bonus) + OT Benefits / Day Shift: 38 Hour week. Monday to Thursday 8.00am 4.00pm / Friday 8.00am 2.00pm / 25 days Paid holiday + Bank Holidays
