Electrical Design Engineer

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of electrical systems for a range of projects. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to produce efficient, compliant, and cost-effective solutions.

• Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
• Produce detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g. BS, IEC)
• Coordinate meetings to establish project requirements
• Develop and deliver progress reports

• Ensure all designs are in accordance with the appropriate Standards (Building regulations, planning) and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate effectively with clients and contractors involved in the project
• Provide detailed lighting calculations for commercial and residential projects
• Lead project technical handovers
• Delivery of the project in compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental plan
• Manage Commercial, Retail and Residential projects from RIBA Stage 1 to Completion
• Lead project meetings and Technical Handover
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys as required
