Diagnostic Vehicle Technician in Swansea
Our client, a reputable family-run franchise-approved dealership in Swansea, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join their established team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Diagnostic Vehicle Technician specialising in diagnostics to develop their career within a respected local business.

Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with dealership standards
- accurately diagnose vehicle faults and report findings to the Workshop Controller
- Ensure vehicle safety, reliability, and performance meet required standards
- Adhere strictly to quality procedures and diagnostic protocols set by the dealership
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge on vehicle systems and diagnostic tools
- Work effectively as part of a team within a busy workshop environment
- Document all work performed accurately and efficiently
Requirements:
- IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, ideally within a main dealership environment
- Strong diagnostic skills and background in fault finding
- UK driving licence with minimal points
- MOT licence is highly advantageous but not essential
- Ability to work to high standards with attention to detail
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
