Production Operative

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Factory Operators to work in our client's facility in Severn Beach. The main purpose of this role is to effectively and efficiently pack and palletise herbs and spices on all production lines.

Location: Severn Beach

Working hours: 40h per week guaranteed, which include paid break. Monday-Friday, rotation shifts: 6.00-14.00 and 14.00-22.00 with a pay per hour 14.05.

Contract type: Temporary contract

The main responsibilities of this role are:

• Ensuring food safety standards, product quality and hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Understanding and performing all tasks assigned by the line supervisor: packing, filling, cleaning, stacking, moving stock, heavy lifting and other duties
• Using the correct pallet plan and production quality attribute sheet for each production run
• Ensuring personal hygiene standards according to company rules

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Driving licence as site is difficult to access with public transport
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK

Experience:

• Warehouse: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
