• Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Managing a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day queries
• Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supporting junior members of the team, providing guidance and on-the-job training
• Preparation and review of personal and corporate tax returns
• Liaising with HMRC and third parties on behalf of clients
• Contributing to the continued development and improvement of internal processes

• AAT qualified or qualified (ACA/ACCA), or qualified by experience
• At least three years' experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and VAT
• Experience using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
• Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
• Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a desire to develop professionally
