Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher - Secondary School (Newport)September Start £172.98 per dayAspire People are currently recruiting a confident and motivated Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher to work in a Secondary school in the Newport area, starting in September. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with experience delivering the Welsh Bacc / Skills Challenge Certificate at Key Stage 4, with the potential for long-term or full-time work.The RoleAs a Welsh Baccalaureate Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, purposeful lessons that support pupils in developing the skills required to successfully complete the Welsh Bacc qualification, including:Delivering Welsh Baccalaureate and Skills Challenge lessons at KS4Supporting pupils with the Individual Project, Enterprise & Employability and Global Citizenship challengesDeveloping pupils' literacy, numeracy, digital competence and research skillsTracking pupil progress and supporting coursework completionEngaging and motivating learners to meet qualification deadlinesWorking closely with departmental staff and senior leaders to support outcomesThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience teaching Welsh Baccalaureate at Secondary levelQTS or equivalent teaching qualificationStrong organisational skills to support coursework-based learningThe ability to engage and motivate mixed-ability classesA positive, professional and flexible approach to teachingWhat We Offer£172.98 per daySeptember start in a supportive Newport Secondary schoolOngoing support from a dedicated Secondary consultantOpportunities for long-term or permanent rolesRequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Right to work in the UKSuitable references covering recent teaching experienceAspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
