Goods Out/Production Operative

West Bank, Widnes 12.71 per hour (increasing after probation) Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm Temp to Perm

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Goods Out / Production Operative to join a food manufacturing business specialising in dry cured and tank cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, this is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with full training and long-term prospects.

During Training (approx. 12 weeks):

• Operate production machinery.
• Pack and label products.
• Follow strict food hygiene regulations.
• Work as part of a team to meet dispatch deadlines.
• Carry out clean-down and hygiene duties.
• Perform quality checks on products.

After Training:

• Load delivery vehicles.
• Complete dispatch documentation.
• Store stock safely and efficiently.
• Move raw materials into production areas.
• Continue quality checks and hygiene duties.

• Manual handling experience.
• Good understanding of health and safety practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Hands-on, proactive approach.
• Previous production experience, ideally within food manufacturing.
• Food hygiene awareness.
• RTITB or ITSSAR Counterbalance FLT licence (refreshed within the last 3 years).
• Previous FLT experience.
