Job Description

Day Rate: £95+ (dependent on experience) Location: Manchester M21 Position: Secondary SEND Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) Contract Type: Full time/Day to Day/ Long term Start Date: May 2026, or sooner subject to compliance checks.

Responsibilities
  • Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with.
  • Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers.
  • Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum.
  • Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting.
  • Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students.
  • Be passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs.
  • Provide support advice and guidance.
  • Promote independence in line with the setting's policy.
