Food Service Assistant

Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at Cardinal Newman College, PR14 4HD.

You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab-and-go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

• Temporary zero hours February until July
• 0-20 hours per week
• Monday to Friday shifts between 9am - 3pm
• Term time only position - 35 working weeks

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
• General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
• General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
• Till work and taking payments
• Restocking items and stock rotation
• General cleaning of front and back of house - sweeping/mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.
• We aim for all staff to be multi-skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e-learning portal.

• Previous catering experience preferred
• Customer service experience required
