Job Title: Maintenance EngineerLocation: ChaddertonSalary: £54,000 - £58,000Shift: Nights

Job Role: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of a fast-paced FMCG production environment. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of production and packaging machinery. The successful Maintenance Engineer will work to minimise downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Non-Negotiable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Must be apprentice trained
• Strong electrical and/or mechanical maintenance background
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work permanent night shifts

Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work on a range of automated machinery
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer

• HNC qualified (or working towards)
• Previous experience within an FMCG environment
• Experience with PLC fault finding
• Continuous improvement experience
