Based in the stunning Snowdonia National Park, our Penrhyn Welsh Slate Quarry is home to a proud team dedicated to creating world-class slate products. We're expanding our slate portfolio and growing our footprint - and we'd like you to join us on that journey.

What you'll be doing

As a Quarry Operative, you'll primarily operate mobile plant machinery to support safe quarry activities, including:

• Extracting slate block from the quarry face
• Transporting materials to our onsite slate manufacturing facilities
• Assisting with general quarry operations as needed

You'll work in a hands-on environment, surrounded by skilled colleagues who take pride in their craft - and who know how to have a laugh along the way.

What we're looking for

You'll be a great fit if you:

• Hold a full UK driving licence (due to our rural location)
• Have an interest in the construction materials industry and mobile plant machinery
• Have experience operating mobile plant (e.g. articulated dump trucks, excavators) in a quarry environment - this is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided
• You are happy to be working outside in all weathers

Our current working pattern is days, but future shift work may be required.
