Air Export Supervisor - Heathrow - Freight Forwarding

Location: Heathrow

Salary: £45,000+ (depending on experience)

A leading freight forwarding business is seeking an experienced Air Export Operations Supervisor to join their team in Heathrow.

This Air Export Supervisor position is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in air export operations who is looking to take on a leadership role within a structured export department.

As an Air Export Supervisor, you will manage a team of 6, focusing on the healthcare/pharma sector and ensuring all air export shipments are handled efficiently and professionally.

• Oversee all air export operations within a busy freight forwarding environment
• Manage and develop a team of 6 air export operators
• Ensure all air export shipments are completed accurately and on time
• Maintain high levels of customer service across air freight export accounts
• Liaise with clients, carriers, and internal departments
• Support the wider export team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Handle a small element of import operations where required

Essential:

• Proven experience in air export operations within freight forwarding
• Previous experience as an Air Export Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar
• Strong knowledge of air freight export processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Experience within healthcare or pharma logistics
• Experience managing teams in an air export department

• £45,000+ salary (flexible for the right Air Export Operations Supervisor)
