Assembly Operative / Assembler

Our client is a well-established and successful manufacturer. They are looking for an experienced Assembly Operative / Assembler to work in their busy factory. This role will become permanent after successfully completing 3 months full work as a temporary agency worker.

Shift pattern: 6.00am 2.00pm / 2.00pm 10.00pm (rotating every 2 weeks)

Salary: £14.73 per hour + Overtime at £19.43 (if available)

Location: Holmfield HX2

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in a hands-on Assembly role in a manufacturing / production / factory / engineering environment.
• You must have experience of using a wide variety of hand tools and power tools.
• You are able to follow diagrams and engineers instructions to assemble products.
• You can start ASAP, or with a very short notice period.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To position, align and fit manufactured parts to form complete units or sub-units.
• To following engineering assembly drawings.
• Utilising hand and power tools to assemble products whilst maintaining consistent quality.
• Any other duties as reasonable requested by management.
