Van Driver / Maintenance Operative

We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a growing client who specialise in the rental supply of essential products within the construction, festival and events industries, based in Gloucestershire.

This is a family firm who have shown continuous growth over the past 10 years and are looking for a van driver who prioritises quality and reliability.

This is an exciting opportunity for a van driver to work for a reputable firm with blended responsibilities including driving and customer interaction.

Hours: Monday - Friday 07:00am - 16:00pm

Salary: 13.30 ( 29,393.00) PA

The van driver role will have the following responsibilities:

• Driving to and from construction sites in and across the Gloucestershire area
• Servicing, cleaning and replenishment of company equipment
• Loading and unloading the products at the correct destination
• Providing excellent customer services to all clients and handling queries
• Ability to perform heavy manual labour through the day safely
• Vehicle checks on the van to ensure the safety of use

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:

• Full UK driving licence
• Van driving experience is essential
• Must physically be able to carry out manual handling/lifting
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Great communication skills
