What You Will Be Doing

As an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Technician you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Completing servicing, inspections and planned maintenance as an experienced HGV Mechanic
• Supporting breakdown repairs when required
• Maintaining accurate service records and documentation throughout
• Keeping the workshop safe, clean and well-organised at all times

What You Will Need

To be considered as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician you will need:

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Truck Technician within a commercial vehicle environment
• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
• Ability to identify worn or faulty components to DVSA standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Diagnostics and electrical experience (desirable)
