Sewing Machinist

We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machinist to join our clients manufacturing team in Hereford. The ideal candidate will have experience operating sewing machines and a keen eye for detail to produce high-quality products. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sewing to develop their skills within a dynamic team environment.

Experience Required:

High level of sewing ability ideally with industrial material and products

Knowledge of different fabrics and their properties

Essential Criteria:

Proven experience a seamstress or in similar role

Proficient in sewing techniques and operating sewing machines

Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination

Ability to read and follow patterns and instructions

Able to carry out accurate measurements

Work quickly and accurately

Check work for mistakes and correct faults

Strong time management skills to meet deadlines

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members

Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively

A conscientious person who takes pride in their work

This is an ongoing temporary position with the view to becoming permanent after a period of time.

Hours: Monday to Friday

39 Hours per week.

13.50 - 13.95 per hour.
