The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Gardener working across sites between Egham and Brookwood. This is a full time permanent role with a salary of 26,722 per year, with an immediate start available.

This role involves maintaining outdoor spaces within a defined local area. You will manage your own sections while working as part of a wider estates team, ensuring all areas are kept to a consistently high standard.

This is a hands-on role offering a mix of routine maintenance and general improvement work across well-kept and established sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain allocated garden areas to a high standard
• Carry out general garden maintenance and improvement work
• Complete lawn care including mowing, edging, feeding, and seasonal work
• Maintain beds, borders, and planted areas
• Carry out seasonal planting including shrubs and bulbs
• Monitor plant health and manage pests or disease
• Carry out pruning and general plant care
• Use horticultural machinery safely and carry out basic checks
• Keep sites clean, tidy, and well presented
• Follow schedules and record completed work

Requirements

• Proven gardening or horticultural experience
• Strong practical gardening skills
• Confident use of horticultural tools and machinery
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Good understanding of Health and Safety
• Full UK driving licence essential

Working Hours

Summer Hours
Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 12.30 / 1.30pm to 5.00pm
Friday 8.00am to 12.30pm / 1.30pm to 4.00pm

Winter Hours
Monday to Friday 8.00am to 12.30 / 1.00pm to 4.00pm
