Mechanical Fitter

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join a specialist water treatment team working across the UK.

This is a hands-on field-based role where you ll service, maintain, and support industrial water treatment systems at customer sites. You ll work independently, solve technical problems, and deliver a high standard of customer service.

Full training is provided so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term engineering career.

What you ll be doing

• Service and maintain water treatment equipment (filtration, RO, softeners, effluent systems)
• Diagnose and fix faults on-site and remotely
• Support installation and commissioning work (training provided)
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Work closely with customers and site teams
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and professionally

What we re looking for

• Practical, hands-on individual with a problem-solving mindset
• Good communication skills and professional attitude
• Willingness to travel across the UK and stay away when required
• IT literate (Word, Excel, email)
• Full UK driving licence
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English

Desirable (not essential):

• Electrical or mechanical background
• Field service or engineering experience
• Exposure to water treatment or industrial systems
