Job Description

greenwellgleeson are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Birmingham with Hybrid Working Available.

Duties of the role will incude:

  • Group monthly reporting

  • Preparation of consolidated profit and loss

  • Reconciliation of inter company trading accounts

  • Month end accruals and review of overheads

  • Preparation of Departmental management accounts.

  • Daily Sales Reporting

  • Assistance in annual budget

  • VAT Returns and associated tasks

  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register

  • Control Account Reconciliations

  • Government Statistics

  • Payroll Accounting

  • Internet Banking authorisation

  • Liaise with auditors

  • Support and develop junior members of the team

  • Ad hoc requests

Skills, Requirements Qualifications

  • Good analytical skills

  • Manufacturing Experience

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Organisation and time management skills (priorities and multi tasks)

  • Computer literate with good spreadsheet capability
