Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Camberley - Hybrid Working
Salary: 28,000 - 35,000 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working within a fast-paced contract negotiation team, you will play a key role in managing procurement activities across various contracts. This position is integral to delivering a high level of service to clients while supporting retention and business growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing and issuing tenders to suppliers within agreed deadlines
- Negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers
- Producing accurate cost comparisons and recommendations for clients
- Managing both manual and electronic data to ensure accurate analysis
- Issuing contract recommendations via email and following up with clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
- Supporting ongoing contract management and resolving client queries
- Collaborating with internal teams to support wider business objectives
What we are looking for:
- Strong communication skills, with confidence in building relationships over the phone
- Numerate with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience within the energy/utilities sector is desirable but not essential
- Proactive, with a positive and solutions-focused approach
