This is a varied Purchasing Administrator role where you will play a key part in supporting the smooth running of day to day operations. You will be joining a supportive team within a company that continues to expand and invest in its people.
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive, and confident managing multiple priorities in a busy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Raising purchase orders and sending them to suppliers
- Ordering tools and materials to meet operational requirements
- Communicating with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, and delivery updates
- Tracking orders and chasing any delayed or outstanding deliveries
- Updating and maintaining accurate supplier information
- Supporting stock control and inventory processes
- Receiving deliveries and logging goods on arrival
- Handling incoming calls and responding to emails
- General administrative support to ensure smooth day to day operations
- Assisting with basic purchase order and delivery checks when required
About you
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Comfortable using systems, databases, and Microsoft Excel
- Able to manage workload effectively and work to deadlines
- Proactive, flexible, and keen to support a growing team
