About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading NHS organisation in London.
You will play a key role in delivering a diverse portfolio of high-impact transformation, clinical and technical projects, working closely with senior clinical leaders, operational teams and external partners. This is a highly visible role with real influence on improving services and outcomes for patients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex projects, from initiation through to implementation and benefits realisation
- Develop and manage key project documentation (e.g. PID, business cases, risk logs, highlight reports)
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including clinicians and executive leaders
- Manage project risks, issues, timelines and resources to ensure successful delivery
- Support procurement processes, including supplier engagement and contract management
- Drive service improvement and change management activities, ensuring smooth transition into business-as-usual
- Present progress, risks and outcomes to programme boards and senior leadership
About you
We're looking for a confident and proactive Project Manager who can operate in a complex healthcare environment.
You will have:
- PRINCE2 Practitioner qualification (essential)
- Experience in healthcare or the NHS (essential)
- Proven experience delivering complex or strategic projects
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience in governance, reporting, and project lifecycle management
- Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences
