The Role: We are pleased to be exclusively partnered with a high performing, multi-entity business based in Leicester as they look to add a Management Accountant into their Group Finance team. This role sits within a well-structured finance function and offers the opportunity to take ownership of key reporting areas, ensuring accurate financial control and high-quality management information across multiple revenue streams. The position will suit someone with strong technical accounting capability and attention to detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to robust financial reporting processes.Key Responsibilities: • Prepare monthly management accounts across allocated revenue streams and associated entities, including full P&L and balance sheet reporting. • Deliver detailed variance analysis with clear and concise commentary on financial performance. • Maintain ownership of reporting schedules and supporting working papers. • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring all journals and adjustments are completed accurately and on time. • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are complete, well-supported, and any discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. • Oversee revenue reporting schedules, ensuring income is recognised in line with accounting policies. • Support statutory reporting requirements, including audit deliverables and responding to auditor queries. • Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, controls, and documentation standards. • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support wider finance teams and business stakeholders. • Contribute to finance-led projects by delivering accurate financial data and insight where required.The Ideal Candidate: • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified Accountant or in the latter stages of qualification. • Experience within management accounting, financial reporting, or financial control in a multi-entity environment. • Strong understanding of P&L reporting and balance sheet management. • Proven experience delivering variance analysis and management reporting. • Strong Excel skills including lookups and pivot tables. • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Experience within a regulated or revenue-driven environment is advantageous but not essential. • Commercial awareness with the ability to support business decision-making through accurate financial insight.What they Offer: • £50,000 - £60,000 base salary plus bonus • Hybrid working model (3 days in the office) • Strong benefits package • Opportunity to gain exposure to multi-entity reporting and financial control • Clear progression within a structured finance environmentHow To Apply: We want to hear from you if you're excited about this opportunity and believe you have what it takes to excel in this role.
