HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver

TLP Recruitment are seeking an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver to work for our client based in the Southampton Docks area. This is an ongoing opportunity offering stable, full-time hours and the chance to work within a busy container operation.

Our client operates within the port logistics sector, supporting container movements across the South. They are now looking for a reliable and professional tramper driver who is confident working within the docks environment.

• £17.00 per hour (PAYE)
• £25 night out allowance
• Day shifts - 06:00 - 18:00
• Tramping role - regular nights out required
• Ongoing, consistent work
• Weekly Pay - get paid on time, every time
• Supportive and friendly team available 24/7
• Immediate starts available
• Pro-rata Paid Annual Leave for PAYE employees

• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Valid DP World Card (essential)
• Previous container driving experience preferred
• Maximum 6 points (no INs or DRs, due to insurance)
• Good knowledge of port procedures and safety
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Reliability and flexibility

• Container deliveries and collections from Southampton Docks
• Tramping work with nights out during the week
• Ensuring all loads are transported safely and efficiently
• Following all port and road safety regulations
