Job Description:

You'll join a collaborative Project Finance Capability Centre supporting a diverse portfolio of advanced air programmes, from manufacturing and engineering to long-term service delivery. Working within cross-functional teams, you'll provide financial insight and analysis , using digital tools, dashboards and data to support decision -making and drive project performance.

You'll contribute across the full project lifecycle, from planning and forecasting to reporting and continuous improvement, helping deliver high-value outcomes for the business and its customers. This role offers excellent exposure across the Air sector, opportunities to influence key decisions and considerable support for professional development, including funded qualifications and study support.

Core duties:

  • Producing financial reports and forecasts, supporting project performance tracking and informed business strategy-making
  • Evaluating project data and trends, providing insights to improve cost control and overall programme delivery
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting financial planning across engineering, manufacturing and service delivery areas
  • Maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely reporting and alignment with governance and project requirements
  • Developing dashboards and analytics, supporting a data-driven approach to improve performance and operational efficiency

Essential Skills:

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ICAS or ICAEW), or currently working toward qualification
  • Ample data assessment skills, with ability to interpret, present and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Experience in financial planning, reporting and forecasting within project or business finance environments
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, communicating risks, performance and recommendations with clarity and certainty
  • Good organisational skills, overseeing workload effectively within a matrix environment and supporting multiple priorities
