Catering Assistant (Part-time)

Hourly rate: £12.83per hour
Location: Holly Lodge, Shildon
Hours: Part time, 15 per week
Qualifications Required: Ideally, you will have food hygiene certificate and a Level 2 catering qualification or equivalent (or a commitment to undertake further training and development, relevant to the role)

Mariposa Care has an opportunityfor a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team in our friendly care home, Holly Lodge. We're on the lookout for someone to support the Chef with food preparation and storage, ensuring different dietary requirements are met where necessary, as well as helpingwithmaintaining accurate records and the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Ideally, you will have worked in a care home kitchen beforebut if you haven't, you'll still have experience of preparing and serving creative, high quality and nutritious meals in a commercial environment.

If you're offered a role with us, it will be conditional on some standard checks, like references and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. We also need you to have good English and numeracy skills, plus a passion for caring and helping our residents to thrive.
