About the Opportunity

An international law firm is looking to appoint a Partner in their Commercial Litigation Team as part of its ambitious growth strategy in Birmingham.

The firm has a strong international platform and genuinely exciting expansion plans across the UK and globally. The Birmingham office is a key focus for investment, with the firm actively seeking senior lawyers who want to play a central role in building and shaping a growing disputes practice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established Partner, Legal Director or senior disputes lawyer who may feel constrained in their current environment and is looking for a platform that genuinely supports practice growth.

The Role

You will play a leading role in developing the firm's commercial disputes offering in Birmingham, working alongside a collaborative national and international litigation team.

Your work is likely to include advising clients on:

• Complex commercial and contractual disputes• Shareholder and partnership disputes• Corporate and financial services litigation• Professional negligence matters• High-value, multi-jurisdictional disputes

In addition to handling complex matters, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop and grow your own client relationships• Build and expand a commercial disputes practice in Birmingham• Work collaboratively with colleagues across other offices and practice areas• Support the development of junior lawyers within the team• Contribute to the firm's wider growth strategy in the UK and internationally

About You

You will be an experienced commercial disputes lawyer with a strong technical background and the ambition to grow a successful practice.

The firm is seeking:

• A proven commercial litigation specialist with strong technical ability• Experience handling complex and high-value disputes• A track record of developing client relationships and business opportunities• A collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset• The motivation to build and expand a practice within a supportive environment
