Location: RG7 4PR , located between Reading and Basingstoke, with free onsite parking . Package: £45,760 - £72,340 per annum (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience)AWE is seeking a Senior Safety Assessment Specialist to support and deliver our Leadership & Management for Safety (LMfS) and Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) culture assessment programme with a focus on: Understanding of Nuclear Site Licence/Authorisation Conditions. Understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to safety culture and safety culture assessment. Awareness of UK and international safety standards relating to leadership and safety culture in a nuclear organisation. Solid understanding of Leadership & Management for Safety principles. Excellent communication and engagement skills, tailored to people across the enterprise, from our Frontline Workers to the senior leadership team. An ability to question and to retrieve information from multiple sources. Confidence in working with data, analytics and report writing. A commitment to promoting good practice across the organisation. Working in a high hazard and/or highly regulated industry (ideally nuclear). Applying safety culture assessment methodologies. Understanding regulatory requirements within the nuclear industry. Developing and delivering training.
