Job Description

Reports to: Head of Faculty - Business & Computing

Start date: September 2026

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage and challenge pupils of all abilities
  • Deliver an ambitious Business curriculum that prepares pupils for GCSE and/or BTEC qualifications
  • Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning within the Business department
  • Create a positive learning environment where pupils are motivated, engaged and supported to achieve their potential

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Ability to deliver consistently outstanding lessons in this subject to pupils of all ages and abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum in the subject
  • Knowledge & experience of Safeguarding & Child Protection issues
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, well developed planning & organising skills including time management
  • A clear passion for your subject and the ability to enthuse and inspire others

Qualification Criteria:

  • Qualified to at least degree level in the subject being taught
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Right to work in the U.K.
