Job Title: Apprentice CNC Operator/Setter

Location: Aviemore

Working Hours: Mon - Thu compressed working week. 38 hours (9.5 hours per day). Core hours are 8am - 4pm with the remaining hours worked between 6am and 6pm.

We're excited to offer opportunities for Apprentice CNC Operator/Setters to join our Award Winning Precision Manufacturing Division in Aviemore.

These are hands on, development focused positions ideal for applicants who are eager to begin a career in advanced manufacturing and precision engineering.

What you'll learn & do
  • Operate and set up CNC machinery in line with industry quality and safety standards
  • Identify and load the correct CNC programmes and tooling
  • Carry out first off inspections and monitor accuracy during production
  • Log production activity using digital shop floor systems
  • Maintain safe, tidy work areas and support wider manufacturing operations
  • Monitor tool wear, make basic programme edits, and ensure all components meet specification
