Sous Chef required to join our prestigious client, a food led Inn with character, located close to Charing / Ashford in Kent. Please note transport is required due to location.
The ideal candidate for the role of Sous Chef, will have experience of working within Gastro Pubs / fine dining restaurants and using seasonal produce.
As Sous Chef, you will be supporting the Head Chef, who takes pride in fostering a supportive and respectful working environment, where every team member is valued and encouraged to grow and develop their skills.
The Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Contribute ideas and creativity towards menu development
- Work collaboratively to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Assist in training and mentoring junior team members
About You:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef
- Passionate about high-quality, locally sourced ingredients
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence
- A positive team player with clear communication skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to perform well under pressure
