The Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is seeking a Development Manager to join our team. The Development Team, comprising four members including this role, collaborates with all departments to raise £750,000 each year, with approximately half generated through Trusts & Foundations.
Job DescriptionThe Lyric Hammersmith Theatre is one of the UK's leading producing theatres. The Lyric creates world class productions in Hammersmith, the theatre's home for over 130 years. The theatre has gained a national reputation for forging pathways into the arts for young talent from all backgrounds.
We are looking for a Development Manager to work with the Development Director and the team to cultivate, solicit, manage and grow income generated from trusts, foundations, statutory, individual and corporate sources. This role will focus on the Trust and Foundations income stream, aiming to raise around half of the team's annual income. Additional opportunities exist to maximize income from individuals, corporates, and events on occasion.
As Development Manager, you will develop and implement strategies to balance the relationship management of existing funders and recruitment of new ones, maintaining and growing income toward on stage work, education and community outreach.
Working alongside the Development Director, you will play a pivotal part in the overall success of the Lyric for theatre makers, young people and the West London community.
