Overhead Crane Operator (Kone Cranes)

We are currently seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Operator to join a busy Energy from Waste (EFW) facility based in Runcorn.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operator looking for consistent, ongoing work on a structured shift pattern.

You will be responsible for operating overhead cranes from a control room environment, with a clear view of both the cranes and the ash bunker.

The role involves handling materials safely and efficiently, including loading IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash) into trucks.

• Operate two overhead cranes safely and efficiently
• Load trucks with IBA material
• Monitor operations from the crane control room
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain clear communication with site teams

• Proven experience operating overhead cranes (ideally Kone Cranes)
• Previous experience in an industrial, waste, or EFW environment is desirable
• Strong understanding of site safety procedures
• Reliable and able to commit to a rotating shift pattern
• Shift pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off
• Start date: Friday 3rd
