Smile Education are working in partnership with a welcoming school in Worcester to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with additional needs. This is a part-time role, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child's educational journey.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver individualised support, helping the pupil to access learning, build confidence, and develop key skills.

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs, both in and out of the classroom.
• Assist with learning activities, adapting tasks to meet individual needs.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider school team.
• Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to review meetings when required.

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND (school or similar setting).
• A patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support are desirable but not essential.
