Stafford (ST16 - fully onsite role)

6 month contract

37 hours a week worked over 4 days! Mon - Thurs 6:45 am to 4:30 pm. Potential for overtime

Up to £21.62 PAYE hourly rate plus holiday and pension contribution OR Umbrella hourly rates up to £29.34 (depending on experience)

We re looking for a Facilities Engineer for a global supplier of world class engines in Stafford. The team are responsible for driving continuous improvement, construction and infrastructure projects across the facility. During this assignment you will own and manage improvement projects and facility upgrades into the facility; if you like to innovate and make facility improvements, this could be the opportunity you ve been looking for

Facilities Engineer - Key Responsibilities

• Deliver facility building projects to deadlines, budget & quality + report key milestones to stakeholders
• Support and contribute to safety targets, revenue costs, quality, performance
• Develop clear project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates aligned with business and operational requirements
• Ensure project documentation is complete (scope, drawings, permits, RAMS)
• Support procurement activities, including contractor selection and technical evaluations
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely execution
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead final inspections, snag lists, commissioning, and handover to operations

Facilities Engineer - Key skills & experience required

• Previous facilities experience within engineering/manufacturing or civils/construction managing improvement projects and facility upgrades into a facility
• Experience leading projects / project management
• Understanding and knowledge of risk & safety and compliance requirements
• Experience of managing contractors and/or suppliers
• Desirable : IOSH Managing Safety certification, IPAF MEWP For Managers, FM Global Hot Works
