Teaching Assistantto work on a full-time, long-term basis at a welcoming primary school in Worcester
This
Teaching Assistantrole will run for the full academic year and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, values-led school environment that places pupils at the heart of everything it does.
The school is a friendly, inclusive primary school with a strong community ethos. Staff work closely together to ensure pupils are supported academically, socially, and emotionally. As a
teaching assistant, you will:
- supporting Year 3 pupilsin class
- Workafternoons supporting Year 5 pupils
- Deliverintervention group workto support attainment and progress
- Provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher
- Support pupils with varying abilities, including those needing additional support
- Help maintain a positive, engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other teaching assistants
Requirements
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification(ideal)
- If no qualification,a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a schoolis essential
- Previous experience as ateaching assistantin a primary school setting
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting children's learning and development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
