HR Admin Assistant to support a busy HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a supportive team.
The Role As an HR Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including:
- Managing the HR mailbox and responding to queries
- Preparing HR documentation (offer letters, probation letters, resignations)
- Supporting onboarding processes and employee inductions
- Conducting new employee check-ins
- Maintaining training records and filing documentation
- Assisting HR and payroll teams
- Providing reception cover when required
- Ensuring first aid boxes are maintained
- Supporting with general administrative duties as needed

- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Discretion and understanding of confidentiality
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential)- Previous HR or administrative experience
- Experience with onboarding systems or HR platforms
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
