HR Administrator / Admin AssistantGravesend (Office-based)Salary: £26,000 per annumFull-time or part-time considered Are you an organised and proactive administrator looking to build or develop your career within HR? We are working with a well-established organisation seeking a motivated HR Admin Assistant to support a busy HR function. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a supportive team.The Role As an HR Admin Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, including:
  • Managing the HR mailbox and responding to queries
  • Preparing HR documentation (offer letters, probation letters, resignations)
  • Supporting onboarding processes and employee inductions
  • Conducting new employee check-ins
  • Maintaining training records and filing documentation
  • Assisting HR and payroll teams
  • Providing reception cover when required
  • Ensuring first aid boxes are maintained
  • Supporting with general administrative duties as needed

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Discretion and understanding of confidentiality
  • Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Previous HR or administrative experience
  • Experience with onboarding systems or HR platforms
