Junior Sous Chef - 4 Star Hotel

We're pleased to be supporting a well established 4-star hotel in South Wales, part of a renowned hospitality group known for its high standards and excellent facilities.

Set within beautiful surroundings, this busy hotel offers a diverse food operation, from relaxed dining to conferences and events, creating a varied and rewarding kitchen environment.

As Junior Sous Chef, you will play an important role in supporting the senior kitchen team, helping to deliver consistently high quality dishes while ensuring smooth day to day operations. This is a great opportunity for a strong Chef De Partie ready to step up or an existing Junior Sous looking to further develop their skills within a professional kitchen.

• £31,000 per annum plus £2,000 to £3,000 service charge
• Working 45 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

Responsibilities as a Junior Sous Chef

• Supporting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day to day running of the kitchen
• Leading sections during service and ensuring smooth operations
• Maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Assisting with training and mentoring junior chefs
• Ensuring all hygiene and health & safety standards are consistently met
