Commercial Finance Analyst

Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment is working with an award-winning FTSE-listed company seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst for its growing finance team.

This is an excellent role for somebody who is looking to break into the industry after qualifying from practice. In this role, you will be working closely with stakeholders, analysing performancess, and supporting key business decisions.

The role

In this role, you will provide financial insight and analysis to support the wider business. You will work across budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business partnering, helping to drive performance and improve decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and periodic reporting.
• Analyse financial performance and highlight key variances, trends, and risks.
• Produce clear and accurate management information for stakeholders.
• Work closely with operational teams to support commercial decision-making.
• Assist with month-end processes and reporting deadlines.
• Help improve reporting processes and deliver better business insight.
• Build strong working relationships across the business.

About you

• Qualified ACCA/ACA from the top 20 practice
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Experience in a commercial finance, FP&A, or finance analyst role.
• Good communication skills and the ability to present financial information clearly.
