We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of Vishay, a leading global manufacturer specialising in advanced semiconductor technology. Their Newport facility is a highly invested, fast-growing fabrication (FAB) environment equipped with cutting edge manufacturing tools and a modern clean-room.

Location: Newport, South Wales
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Salary: 24,823 + shift allowance (30% / 20%)
Shift Patterns
12 hour shifts. Days: 7am-7pm
Front End (30%): Back End (20%):
Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue Wed, Thu, Fri
Sun, Mon, Tue Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat
Key Responsibilities
- Operate specialist tools and equipment within the semiconductor FAB
- Work in a controlled clean-room environment and follow clean-room protocols
- Adhere to detailed manufacturing specifications, operating procedures, and quality standards
- Complete accurate data entries for tool and process documentation
- Escalate concerns to senior operators or team leaders as required
- Follow all EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) requirements
What You Will Need
Full training is provided; however, the ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong attention to detail and methodical working approach
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable time management
- Basic computer literacy (all tools require data input)
- Ability and willingness to work across all shifts
